I mean record breaking hot (at least for Bend). Three days this week it has been 100 degrees or slightly over. Luckily, we dropped ten degrees to a mere 92 yesterday and it looks to be a nice cooling trend for the next week.
Have I ever mentioned how much I dislike hot weather? Living in Poway was like living in an oven most days. At least here our summer really is only a few months and it ALWAYS cools off at night to at least somewhere in the 50's.
To beat the heat we have been taking advantage of our front porch / courtyard with our little water table and kiddie pool. It gets only morning sun so all afternoon it is shaded by the trees and the house. It is amazing how refreshed you can be just sitting under a nice big umbrella with a book and your feet in a kiddie pool when it is hot outside. I uploaded some water fun videos so check them out! How is it that your kids have SO MUCH personality in pictures? I can only imagine what comes through in real life! They are so cute!
Oh I am counting the days down to see you guys, especially meeting Logan for the first time. Like Mandee said, "They are so cute!" The definitely are CUTE!
